Don’t you wish all of the caps under your hood matched? It has always been nearly impossible to find a black washer fluid reservoir cap to tie it all together — until now. ECS is now offering the black washer cap you have always wanted and has included it with the polished aluminum-look expansion tank and oil caps from the Audi R8 to replace all of your major engine bay caps at once!

The washer fluid cap is not just for looks either. It keeps dirt and debris from entering the washer fluid pump and lines and clogging them up, and keeps the washer fluid from escaping and being wasted. Due to the temperatures reached in the engine bay, the cap can sometimes become brittle and crack, or even just fade out.

Often times, the coolant is not kept under enough pressure to keep it from boiling or expanding too much. The expansion tank cap keeps all the heat and liquid inside the coolant system for maximum efficiency and should be replaced each time major coolant system service is performed.

The R8 oil cap will give your engine bay  a new visual appearance, while at the same time preventing oil from spilling out all over your engine. Without a useable engine oil cap, you might experience low oil pressure, oil leaks and your engine might seize up. So, not only will this part improve the look of your engine, it will help keep it safe too.

Note: On some models the oil and coolant caps might sit off-center unless lower portion is modified. This is well documented on forums. Some models also may require shaving of the locking tab of the coolant cap in order to achieve a tight fit.
