1. INTRODUCTION & ACCEPTANCE

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Sick Culture website, including all purchases made through it.

By accessing, browsing, registering on, or purchasing from our website, you:

• Confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

• Agree to be bound by these Terms.

• Accept our Shipping, Returns, and Privacy policies contained herein.

• Consent to electronic communications in terms of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 

(ECTA).

3. USER ACCOUNTS & ELIGIBILITY

3.1 Age Requirement

You must be 18 years or older to transact.

Minors may use the website only with parental or guardian supervision.

3.2 Account Security

• Providing accurate and up-to-date information

We reserve the right to suspend accounts suspected of fraudulent or unlawful activity.

4. PRODUCT INFORMATION & AVAILABILITY

5. PRICING & PAYMENT

5.1 Currency

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR). Due to the volatility of the USD & ZAR, imported product’s prices may change frequently.

VAT is excluded where applicable unless otherwise stated.

6. SHIPPING POLICY

6.1 Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–5 business days (excluding weekends & public holidays).

6.2 Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery:

• Major cities: 1–5 business days after processing

• Regional areas: 3–7 business days

• International: Varies by destination

These are estimates only and not guarantees. Where possible, we will always endeavor to deliver products in the 

shortest time frame possible

6.3 Delivery Providers

We use third-party courier services. Once dispatched:

• Risk passes to the customer upon delivery.

• We are not responsible for courier delays beyond our control.

6.4 Incorrect Addresses

Customers are responsible for accurate delivery details.

Re-delivery fees may apply if an incorrect address is supplied.

6.5 Lost or Damaged Parcels

If goods arrive damaged:

• Notify us within 48 hours

• Provide photographic evidence

We will investigate and arrange replacement where appropriate.

7. RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

Sick Culture Return/Refund Policy: 

Return requests must be submitted to info@sickculture.co.za within 7 business days of receiving the item.

To be eligible for return, items must be unused, unfitted, in original condition and in original packaging.

Non-refundable items: sale items, gift cards, specially-ordered items (items ordered via the “order now” channel/button & items not generally stocked which are ordered specifically for the client upon request), Artworks (as these are manufactured specifically for client according to order), deposits for detailing/

paint protection/wrapping services, & PPF/Wrap purchases (Paint Protection Film – see Term’s & Conditions at the bottom of the page).

Buyer is responsible for courier costs related to returning items.

Sick Culture will replace defective items as long as defect is reported to info@sickculture.co.za within 48 hours after receival. Email must include clear pictures of the defects reported 

Once a Return is submitted & recieved, it will be thoroughly inspected. If item is deemed to be in acceptable condition – the return/refund will be approved, and a refund will be processed to the original method of payment. The amount refunded will be the original amount paid, less the cost of the courier for the original order.(Compliant with the Consumer Protection 

Act – CPA)

7.1 Cooling-Off Period (Online Purchases)

In terms of Section 44 of ECTA:

Customers may cancel an online order within 7 business days of delivery without penalty.

Conditions:

• Item must be unused

• In original packaging

• In resalable condition

Customer bears return shipping cost unless goods are defective.

7.2 Defective Goods (CPA Section 56)

Customers may request a return of defective goods within 48 hours after delivery. Sick Culture Pty Ltd must be notified of defects via email (info@sickculture.co.za) within 48 hours of receiving defective goods. Email must contain clear pictures of defects.

We will:

• Repair

• Replace

• Refund

At Sick Culture Pty Ltd’s election. Products sold by but not manufactured by us will be subject to the manufacturer’s returns, refunds and warranty terms and conditions. Customers are bound by manufacturers terms where applicable & are required to adhere to manufacturer’s processes after the 7 day return-policy timeframe has lapsed.

7.3 Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

• Worn or used items

• Custom-made items

• Gift cards

• Items damaged due to misuse

• sale items

• specially-ordered items (items ordered via the “order now” channel/button & items not generally stocked which are ordered specifically for the client upon request).

• Artworks (as these are manufactured specifically for client according to order)

• Deposits for detailing/paint protection services

• PPF purchases (Paint Protection Film).

7.4 Refund Processing

Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days after inspection.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content including:

• Logos

• Brand elements

• Designs

• Product images

• Website content

Are the exclusive property of Sick Culture (Pty) Ltd.

Protected under:

• South African Copyright Law

• International intellectual property treaties

Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

9. PROHIBITED USE

Users may not:

• Engage in fraudulent activity

• Use the website for unlawful purposes

• Attempt to hack or disrupt services

• Copy or exploit intellectual property

• Abuse staff or other users

We reserve the right to terminate accounts without notice for violations.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Sick Culture shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses

• Loss of profits or data

• Website downtime

• Third-party courier delays

Maximum liability shall not exceed the value of the product purchased.

Nothing excludes liability where unlawful under South African law.

Where applicable, disputes may be referred to:

• The Consumer Goods & Services Ombud

17. AMENDMENTS

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time.

Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date.

Continued use constitutes acceptance.

19Paint Protection Film & Vinyl Wrap specific Terms & Conditions:

Private Clients50% Commitment deposit payable on acceptance of this quotation and to confirm the booking, balance is payable prior to or upon completion of fitment, unless otherwise specified in the Terms above. Dealers & Panelbeaters: Please submit official order against this Quotation. Payment must be made within 7 days of work being completed, unless a formal Credit application and acknowledgement of account has been confirmed by Sick Culture. Confirmed appointments, not cancelled by the client within 48 hours prior to confirmed date, a levy of R750 will be charged for. Deposits are non-refundable, as PPF may be pre-cut per order for each specific vehicle and thus not stock items. Any costs arising from late or short payment of due amount will be for the account of the Debtor & be reflected on a separate Invoice/Statement, calculated at 19,25% per annum in line with the National Credit Act (NCA). Please allow minimum 8 to 24 work hours per vehicle for fitment depending on option selected. Due to the volatility of the USD and ZAR, this Quote is valid for 10 days.

Note:

• Additional options available on request, i.e. full body wraps, specific section(s) i.e. Rocker panels, Tail lights, wear & tear kits, Interior etc.; (All quotes exclude tail lights, unless requested and or specified)-Certain vehicles such as 2012 and newer Porsche’s have UV & smoke coat on the headlights and will not be covered due to various technical combined factors

• On Acceptance of this quote, kindly sign, take note of deposit requirement & send photo’s of your vehicles, this is to ensure the correctness of Kit(s), prior to cutting.

• Bulk fitment is applied in such a manner as to fold in where possible due the design of the specific vehicle and where possible. For more information on where the PPF will ‘wrap’, please give us a call. Traditionally Paint Protection Film would be fitted to align to Panel edges only, though depending on panel gaps and specific panel, film may wrap in or around. This is called a non-intrusive application and is NOT like Colour Change Plastic Vinyl, where panels and parts need to be removed in order to hide the original colour of the vehicle.

• Pricing is based on meters. Pricing per individual panel will result in a substantial price difference (more expensive) when added together.

• Variations in Model quoted for, additional areas of coverage and or any changes made to the vehicle, including but not limited to body kits, badges after confirmation and acceptance of this quote may be billed for.

Sick Culture & BodyFence®, Llumar®, Apex ® Paint Protection Film Warranty and Care Instructions:

• Do not wash vehicle for at least 72 hours after fitment & try to not keep vehicle in sun for at least 2 days.

• This quotation does not include removal of previously fitted film, please consult with us should you wish to have any existing Paint Protection Film removed and or replaced as it is chargeable.

• The onus of cleaning the Exterior of the Vehicle to remove any stubborn or excess dirt or bug stains, prior to on-site (mobile) fitments, lies with Customer. CPP does use an alcohol based surface cleaner to clean the vehicle, prior to fitment; Fitments at our Dealers and our premises will receive a pre-wash prior to fitment.

• Sick Culture will not take responsibility for pre-existing damage or flaws on paint work, over which the film is to be applied. The client hereby undertakes that the areas where the film is to be applied is in a good and acceptable condition prior to giving instruction to commence work.

• Do NOT Wax, Glaze or Ceramic Coat vehicles prior to fitment, as this affects the films ability to stick and clotting of wax between the film and vehicle surface may occur, Sick Culture will not be held liable for any defective or unevenness as a result of film fitted on waxed, Ceramic Coated and or glazed surfaces.

• Should a variation in model and or body kit, be picked up from photo’s upon confirmation, we will need to requote before continuing with the prior accepted quote.

• Fitment may not be done within a minimum of 21 days from any spray work having been done, or until paint has settled/dried completely

• Customer must inform Sick Culture of any wax, Glaze and or coating applied or repairs (spray work and or touch ups) that has been carried out on the vehicle to be fitted  on acceptance of this quotation and the onus to ensure that vehicle has been properly restored prior to the film being fitted, lies with the client.

• 3rd Party Film Removal will be charged at R450-00 per panel.

• Shape of certain areas on the vehicle, may require separate inserts or V-cuts on curves. However, some areas might require stretching in order to fit around extreme rounded areas in order to prevent making unnecessary inserts or V-Cuts., thus providing optimal protection on all possible areas of your vehicle

• Even though we take utmost care in providing the best possible quality fitment, minor dirt particles may become trapped under the film during the fitment process.

• Where we have fitted the material around edges, trimming might be required when dirt becomes trapped, to prevent the material from lifting, this is quite normal, as we sometimes need to take the material around edges, in order for it to set, dry and take on the shape of the particular panel.

• If Mobile (on-site fitments was done) Vehicle should (where possible) be made available to Sick Culture for final inspection & check for any lifting & bubbles 72 hours after final fitment or as recommended by the fitment technician.

• Sick Culture will remove any ‘parts’ including but not limited to: decals, number plates, number plate housings, emblems, badges, covers, from a vehicle where necessary, however Sick Culture does not guarantee that said parts will not be damaged during the removal and re-installation process. Any damage caused, accidental or otherwise to the vehicle and or such ‘parts’ resultant from the removal of such ‘parts’, will be for the account of the Customer and Sick Culture will not be held liable for any such damage caused.

• Film will be fitted around the afore mention ‘parts’ where possible, in the event that such ‘parts’ have or can not be removed.

Llumar Platinum & Select Black™,  BodyFence X™ & Apex 200mic products are warranted to be free of defects in manufacturing for 10 (Ten) years*, Llumar Valor™ 7 (Seven) Years and Apex 160mic 5 (Five) Years from date of purchase and this Warranty is not Transferrable:

• Warranty does not apply to damage to BodyFence®, Llumar®, Apex ® Paint Protection Film™ caused by erroneous application, vehicle involved in accident, intentional misuse, incidental or accidental damage or wear and, in all circumstances, the warranty shall only cover the then, at-installation value of the installed Paint Protection Film™ less the prorated amount covering the period of actual use, with the total period for the proration being Ten (10) years for Llumar Platinum & Select Black™,  BodyFence X™ & Apex 200mic, Seven (7) years for Llumar Valor™ and Five (5) years for Apex™ 160mic, divided into equal monthly amounts over that period. For avoidance of doubt, in the event of replacement, the new warranty shall be limited to the remainder of the original warranty period as applicable to the replaced film.

• Limitation of remedies and liabilities are solely restricted to replacement of the defective film and subject to the removal and analysis by CPP of the affected film, with such analysis confirming that the defects are manufacturing related.

• Due to the amount of fraud and misrepresentation, ensure that the vehicle VIN is recorded and reflected on the final Invoice. Contact sales@sickculture.co.za within 10 days to validate and/or activate your warranty, or do so through the website of the product fitted to your vehicle.

BodyFence®, Llumar®, Apex ® Paint Protection Film Product Warranty as well as 3 month workmanship Warranty does not apply and may be voided due to:

• Where Glaze, Wax and/or a Hydrophobic coating being applied to painted surfaces prior to fitment of the film.

• Where non-approved Glaze, Wax and/or a Hydrophobic coating (ie. Ceramic Coating) is applied on top of the film, approval must be obtained from either BodyFence®, Llumar®, Apex ® and/or Sick Culture in writing.

• Damage caused from negligent or incorrect use of High Pressure hose, causing the film to tear and or lift; any replacements as a result hereof will be for the cost of the client. 

• Post fitment check-up(s) not carried out as per the above as a result of clients unavailability or inability to make vehicle available

• Warranty is VOID where the Warranty sticker has been removed or tampered with and or

• The Vehicle VIN number has not been submitted for registration upon application by the installing dealer

                Use of:

• Powder based or abrasive cleaners

• Solvent based degreasers

• High Speed buffing or polishing Equipment

• Rubbing compound, clay or other type of abrasive chemicals, including products containing petroleum and or paraffin

Improper Cleaning agents including but not limited to products containing, naphtha, kerosene, Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), Sodium Lauryl Sulfates (SLS) or dyes or any products not intended for normal maintenance and care.
